Lolita Express

Edition label: 2026-10

Definition: Popular media nickname[^1] used in press coverage of Jeffrey Epstein’s air travel. This page documents Epstein’s Boeing 727 (FAA tail number N908JE, per pilot-logbook records)[^2], a large-cabin aircraft.[^3]

Overview

Epstein bought the 727 from Leslie Wexner’s company, The Limited,[^4] which replaced it with a Boeing Business Jet (BBJ);[^5] the 727 stayed in Epstein’s service until about 2016 and was sold in 2018,[^6] per Morrison’s 2009 sworn testimony and the chief pilot’s 2020 FBI interview.

Rodgers told the FBI he did not know how the term “Lolita Express” originated and disputed a press account about it;[^7] Morrison referred to the aircraft as “his 727.”[^8]

The aircraft sits inside the broader Epstein flight department (JEGE) operation; its maintenance and crew were drawn from the same staff that handled the Gulfstreams.[^9] Surviving passenger evidence for the 727 comes from the Maxwell-trial pilot flight logbooks (Government Exhibit 662-RR)[^10] and from witness depositions.[^11]
